Mystery of Life # 419: Solved

Mystery: Why, when we keep buying the 4-year-old more and more socks, do we never ever have a pair when it is time to go out?

Solution found this morning! They're all under the dryer. Ewwwww.

Stay tuned for tomorrow's unsolved, and possibly related mystery: Why exactly is there a large collection of cherry pits under the washing machine?

ROFL!! OK, I have to admit it took me a few seconds to "get" this. My first thought was, "Mystery #420 would be, How did the socks get under the dryer?" But, let me guess... does the 4-year-old like cherries, perchance? :^D

Actually, thoughtful reader, Mystery #420 is yet unsolved. And the 4 year old, since he's not allowed cherries or any other food, and is good about not sneaking, is one of the few potential culprits NOT on the suspect list :-). So Mysteries #420 and #422 remain in the clouded swirling mist of perplexity . . .

Ha! How could I have momentarily forgotten that he can't eat? Duh! (How wonderful that he's good about not sneaking!)

The plot definitely thickens.

So, are there any leads yet on how all those cherry pits ended up under the washing machine?
